This Privacy Policy describes how Webteam Portugal - Destino Principal, Lda. ("imobancos", "we") collects, uses and protects the personal data of users of the imobancos.pt website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679) and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019.

We only collect data that is strictly necessary for the purposes described below: • Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), subject and message. • Newsletter / account registration: email and, when applicable, name. • Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on page, referrer — collected through Google Analytics 4, only with your consent. • Marketing data: device identifiers and interaction events, collected through Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), only with your consent. • Data stored locally on your device: favourites, compare list and display preferences (theme, view). This data is not sent to our servers.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process your data for the following purposes: • Responding to contact requests and providing information (pre-contractual steps, art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). • Sending newsletters, when subscribed (consent, art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). • Statistical analysis and site improvement (consent, art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). • Marketing and personalised advertising (consent, art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). • Compliance with applicable legal obligations (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Sharing with third parties

Your data may be shared with the following processors, always under contracts that guarantee its protection: • Google Ireland Limited — Google Analytics 4 (usage statistics). • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — Meta Pixel (marketing and remarketing). • Google Ireland Limited — Google AdSense (advertising). • Hosting and email delivery providers. Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, we ensure such transfers are made under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other legally valid mechanisms. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Retention period

We only keep data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected: • Contact messages: up to 2 years after the last contact. • Newsletter: until the user unsubscribes. • Analytics data: up to 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default). • Data stored on your device (localStorage): until you delete it yourself.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: • Right of access, rectification and erasure. • Right to restriction of and objection to processing. • Right to data portability. • Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. • Right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD — www.cnpd.pt).
